ART AT THE PARK

Park Hyatt Honors ‘The Muse’ At Ballroom Soiree

In a month dedicated to women, the Park Hyatt invited us along to what surely must be the classiest arty party of the year, called ‘My Muse My Affection.’ Intended as an opportunity for some of Vietnam’s best young artists to showcase what inspires their ‘pursuit of everyday beauty’, the Hyatt Ball Room was dressed to impress, very much like it’s guests, who came in the code of ‘Black and a touch of gold’.

Exhibiting works from Craig Thomas Gallery, the evening’s entertainment included a live performance from Vietnamese impressionist painter Lieu Nguyen, who created art in front of our eyes, choreographed dances from Thuy Van from Arabesque Dance Company and music from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, who brought along their choir. As culture vultures, we would have been quite happy with that list, however this was also accompanied by not only a fashion show from Thuy Design House, who showed off her signature, contemporary Vietnamese style, but some of the finest food and drink this city has to offer. Encore. Bring on Art at the Park 2017!
